Congratulations once again to the newly wedded, its a thing of joy and i am always glad to be part of the key day in a brides life. My latest bride Isis was a referral from a dear fellow Pro Makeup artist..... Yes we do recommend and refer ourselves.
Due to hectic schedule, we were only able to squeeze in her makeup trial a week before her big day.... She wanted something really natural looking as this was her first time having a full face makeup, and ohh she loved the outcome! We aim to please.
We agreed to an early start which will leave her more than enough time to have her pictures taken with her bridal party without having to worry about being late, but once again things ran really late and i didn't start her makeup till after 10.15am and she is due to leave at 11.30am.
During the waiting period, her face was cleansed with Clinique clarifying lotion and richly moisturised with Embrolisse Lait-Crème, allowing her skin time to aborb the moisturiser and plump up in time for her makeup application.
Her skin was primed with Mac cosmetics Prep & Prime face lotion, then her brows were lightly filled in with Mac eyebrow pencil in Stud. Isis has no blemishes and her skin is clear so we went with a medium coverage foundation in a mix of Mac cosmetics matchmaster 7.0 and 7.5, concealed her under-eye area with LA Girl cosmetic in fawn, and highlighted with Mac Prep & Prime highlighter in Bright Forecast then set with Mac MSF in dark.
On her eyes a cocktail of colours from Mac All that glitters and Makeup geek foiled shadow in Grandstand, and on the outer corner and along the lash line is Mac Dark-Brew and In-the-Dark, then paired with Ardell lashes in Wispies.
Her lips was lined with both Mac lipliners in Cork and Currant, then a mix of soft pink and Nude lipstick shade was applied. For added glow Mac MSF highlighter in gold deposit was used on her upper cheekbones and some dusted along her open shoulder.
Here she is with her hair and makeup complete looking very beautiful.
The mother of the bride had her makeup done as well, she looks very beautiful.
Mother and Daughter Moment, Priceless!
Thank you once again for the patronage, wishing you the best things marriage has got to offer.
